Where can I get a copy of NetBrilliant?
NetBrilliant is still under development and testing; however, the current version, 1.10B, is publicly available from NetBrilliant.com. Click here to go to the download section.
- I clicked on the download arrow, but nothing happened. Where else can I get a copy?
Some web browsers apparently have problems with the NetBrilliant download center. To get a copy directly, download from https://netbrilliant.com/pub/bin/nb110.exe.
- How does it work exactly?
We can't really answer that question. You'll really have to see it in action. We hope you'll download a copy, or at least take the picture tour.
- Will it work with my computer?
NetBrilliant has been built to take advantage of the affordances of the Microsoft Windows environment. We are also interested in extending the implementation to other operating systems, but we have no concrete plans at this time. If you have a computer running Windows 95 or later, you'll be fine.
- How easy is it to get MP3's?
NetBrilliant does not support MP3 sharing any longer.
- I want to put a link to NetBrilliant on my web site, or use a screen shot. Do you have any images I can use?
Yes; please visit our Link to Us section; there you will find a number of banner images and screen shots you are free to use.

- Are there any ads or anything?
No; NetBrilliant is free.
- It says I need Internet Explorer on your web site, but I'm using some other browser (Netscape, Opera...). Will NetBrilliant still work on my computer?
Yes! We only say you need Internet Explorer because some of its functions are used by NetBrilliant; in Windows 98, and later, those functions come with the operating system (that's what the whole Microsoft legal battle is all about). So if you have Windows 98 or later, thanks to Microsoft, it'll work fine. If you have Windows 95 only, you'll need to install Internet Explorer.
- I don't know whether to download the normal NetBrilliant file, or the ZIP one - what's the difference?
If you don't know what a ZIP file is, you probably don't want it. The normal file is exactly the same, except that it installs itself. We provide the ZIP file just because it's a little smaller, and some software centers like to have ZIP files to give away rather than regular programs. We suggest you just follow the instructions in the download center for downloading and installing NetBrilliant.
